MERKEL FLOATS EU-US PRIVACY PACT AS ANGER MOUNTS, FINANCIAL TIMES, OCT. 24, 2013, AP

I agree with Angela Merkel's protests and requests and would also make the same guarantee to the American people. We have overstepped our security concerns in the effort to protect people and countries from terrorism. Although well intentioned we have spread the web too wide and are ignoring or obviating constitutional freedoms. Unfortunately political bureaucrats are in control of information gathering of Americans and data collected from 35 countries as well. There are courts and FISA requirements that mandate procedures that should be followed in these matters. Why is this nation not challenging these agency practices? AGP FINANCIAL TIMES ARTICLE BY DR.
